Bio "Their chemistry is really kind of magical,"-John Platt, WFUV Lucky 13 unites the dynamic and diverse talents of Cathy Kreger & Marci Geller. Marci has performed on "Live! With Regis," "Good Day NY," has a multitude of soundtrack placements and toured as the support act for Blackmore's Night. She was just chosen by Independent Songwriter Magazine (ISWM) as the "Editors Choice" as one of their favorite songwriters of the last decade. Called a "Female John Prine" by Gail Larkin, UUBR and an "East Coast Joni Mitchell" by Judy Antoon, Harid Conservatory, Marci is known for her strong songwriting skills and emotionally raw performances. Cathy has opened for Bonnie Raitt, Taj Mahal Patti Larkin, Aztec Two-Step and David Bromberg. She has gained the reputation as one of the strongest vocalists and rhythm guitarists in the Northeast. Noel Paul Stookey (of Peter, Paul and Mary) once said "No doubt about it. She has a great voice and really has her act together." Together the two have ridden a rollercoaster to finally arrive at their current destination. Previously a trio, the duo went through two personnel changes before realizing that the obvious had been staring them in the face all along. With thousands of miles of touring under their belts and a renewed commitment to the music, the two feel stronger and more confident than ever. Among their recent credits, Lucky 13 has performed on WFUV, Fox Morning Show, and had a New York Times feature article. They have opened for Jack Hardy, , Vance Gilbert, James Maddock and sung backup vocals for Jay Mankita several times.
